chemical process equipment supplier

This page coordinates handover of a comparable quote pack when a buyer wants replies from more than one chemical process equipment supplier. Chemical Process Equipment Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner: we collect the same assumption set, circulate it, and help the buyer see which items sit inside the vessel price versus lining inspection, shipping, training and commissioning. We do not operate glass-lined shops, keep finished reactors in a warehouse, or speak as a factory sales office.

Assumptions that must be quoted together include batch chemistry and materials of construction, working versus total volume, separate vessel-side and jacket-side design pressure in psig, design temperature, heating area in square feet, agitator speed and drive, the nozzle schedule, and which lining inspection records travel with the offer. Without those lines, two factory numbers that look close can describe different pressure spaces. A public reactor cut sheet that lists vessel pressure, jacket pressure, design temperature and heating area separately is a reminder to keep units visible; it is not a product we resell.

Tooling, installation, shipping, training and commissioning should appear as included or excluded on each reply. If a supplier omits jacket valves, agitator seals or control instruments, the buyer still owns that interface unless the purchase contract later assigns it. Staffing during FAT and SAT is also a quote line, not an implied service of this intermediary. Connected load, three-phase supply and cooling water remain site facts the buyer supplies.

Handover

Work through this decision

Handover: Must have

Each supplier must restate vessel and jacket duties, heating area, agitator rpm, nozzle facing, lining inspection records, packing method, shipping weight versus installed weight, and whether FAT/SAT attendance, spare parts and training days sit inside the machine line. A handover pack that only repeats a catalog gallon figure cannot be compared. Throughput should be written as batch size and cycle time with named heat-up and cool-down tasks so duty cycle is visible.

Tradeoff

A lower vessel price can hide agitator drive, lining repair access, crate engineering or on-site nozzle hook-up. The tradeoff is not “cheap versus premium branding”; it is whether the quoted boundary includes the pressure-containing jacket, the mixing assembly and the documents a plant engineer needs before lifting. Prefer the offer that names exclusions over a round number that later grows during installation.
