Machine Selection

chemical process equipment manufacturer

Resolve heat-transfer and mixing assumptions, then compare manufacturer documents for nozzles, lining records and agitator access before awarding a reactor RFQ. This dossier is a buyer checklist, not an engineering stamp and not a compliance guarantee. Chemical Process Equipment Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner coordinating those document sets; we are not a chemical process equipment manufacturer and we do not award work on a factory’s behalf.

Document comparison: Must have

Place vessel-side and jacket-side design pressure and temperature on the same row for every bidder. Add working versus total volume, heating area, agitator speed and drive, nozzle schedule, lining inspection records, shipping versus installed weight, and the maintenance drawing for agitator removal. If a manufacturer pack omits one of those lines, mark the pack incomplete rather than averaging it with a complete pack.

Tradeoff

A drawing-rich pack can still quote a water-trial heating area that does not match the buyer’s heat-up task. A sparse pack can still name the correct psig pair. The tradeoff is document completeness versus duty match. Prefer the set that restates the buyer’s chemistry and cycle time over a polished brochure that never mentions jacket duty.

Next question

Which lining inspection records, pressure-containing documents and spare-parts lists are included in the delivered scope, and which stay as options? Ask that before treating a manufacturer name as a finished specification. Public cut sheets cited in articles are unit reminders, not affiliation.
